TOUR PROGRAM.

Day 1: Bangkok / Ayuthaya / Kirimaya Resort

Breakfast at hotel and depart for Ayuthaya, with stops along the way to visit some temples in the area, including the Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon, Wat and Wat Sri Samphet Mongkhon Bophit. Continuation of the route you will visit the beautiful temples of Wat Mahathat Ratjaburana. Stop for lunch on the river in a local restaurant and transfer to pier for embarkation. The wharf is home to a nice local market where you can admire picturesque glimpses of everyday life. Starting with the typical boat tour around the city during which you can admire the temples Wat Chai Wattanaram, and Wat Wat Naphramane Phanang Choen hosting a packed community of monks, where you can discreetly watch the impressive time of prayers and religious rites.

End of visit and proceed to Kirimaya Resort. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Khao Yai National Park

After breakfast an full day tour to the Khao Yai National Park, which is crossed from north to south along the main route, making stops at some of the most beautiful waterfalls including Heu Heu and Narok Suwat. Possibility of a short and easy trek into the jungle between Heu Suwat waterfalls and Khluey. Optional trek of organizing more difficult routes to reach the remote waterfalls Heu Heu Sai Pratun. The tours will be led by experienced park rangers. Packed lunch provided by the resort, dinner and overnight.

NB: in the dry season the program will be modified by the guides to the places most suitable depending on weather conditions.

Day 3: Khmer Temples

Breakfast and early morning departure to visit the archaeological sites that host the beautiful Khmer temples of Wat Phimai, Phanom Rung Phanom Wan, Muang Tam, real jewels Khmer art and architecture similar to the famous temples of Angkor in Cambodia. The temples belong mostly to the period stylistically most advanced and most important of Angkor Wat, with its bas-reliefs “descriptive” that replaced the centuries heraldic style and decorative, and are still in good condition.

The bas-reliefs at Phimai and Phanom Rung in particular, are among the most beautiful and best ever made by the Khmer. Lunch at local restaurant to Phanom Rung. Return to the Resort in late afternoon, dinner and overnight.

NB: the day will be marked by a very demanding program of visits and a distance of 400 km.

Day 4: Khao Kho

Breakfast and departure in the morning, heading north toward the site of Sri Theap, the “paradise” of the Khmer civilization, a city that was thought to exist only in legend, but which came to light early last century. In this place were also found traces of prehistoric settlements. Visit the temple, with the possibility to rent bicycles for free visits (optional and extra charge). At the end of the visits continue to Khao Kho, Petchabun capital of the province, and lunch in a restaurant in the early afternoon start of the ascent to the plateau during which you can admire the beautiful surrounding hillside and visit some farms.

Arrival at the hotel, accommodation in rooms, dinner and overnight.

Day 5: P. Thung Luang National Salaeng / Pitsanuloke / Bangkok

Breakfast and departure to the nearby waterfalls of Khaeng Sopha, referred to as the “Falls of Asia.” After the visit, continue along the river and visit the falls Then Khek and Song. Lunch at a vantage point overlooking the rapids. Arrival in Phitsanuloke in the early afternoon and visit the Wat Mahathat. Dinner at local restaurant, transfer to airport and departure by evening flight to Bangkok.

We only employ safe and careful drivers and use the most modern and comfortable air conditioned minivan and coach. We will provide transport dependent on your group size as follows.

Group size 1-9 persons: modern minibus with air-conditioner – 9 passenger seat format.

Group size 10-13 persons: modern minibus with air-conditioner- 13 passenger seat format.

Group size 13 + persons: we can either use multiple minibuses or a full sized passenger coach in a 24, 32 or 40 seat format.

Guides.

A Tourist Authority of Thailand licensed and English, Chinese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Russian, French, Spanish, German, Korean, Japanese, Thai or Italian speaking guide will be provided. We provide separate drivers and your guide will not be driving the vehicle.
