TOUR DESCRIPTION. Tourphuket.org offers this V.I.P. tour to discover Phang Nga bay and James Bond island by speedboat from Phuket. Actually this is the best tour available to visit Phang Nga bay. Departure time for this tour is a bit late in the morning to avoid the crowds and perform the tour when those islands are still not full of tourists and so they can keep their natural charming. This tour is performed with a speed boat that will carry not more then 25-40 people maximum to ensure the quality of the tour.

Pick-up from your resort by air-conditioned Mini Bus – FREE Transfers from anywhere on the island!
10:00am – Departure from Royal Phuket Marina
The Ice Cream Cave – The cave is not that big itself, but there are numerous formations called “stalactite” in it. Come in and find out.
The Mangrove Cave – Fire up your torches and step into a prehistoric world!
Canoeing – gliding though the mystique mangrove swamp – absolute private.
Panyee Village – Authentic Thai lunch is served in the Village and explore the lifestyle of the villagers
Hide away – swim and relax somewhere far from the crowds
Return to Royal Phuket Marina – Departure around
04:30pm and arrives the marina at around
05:30pm for your transfer back to your resort.

TOUR BACKGROUND. Ko Tapu, Koh Tapu or Khao Tapu at James Bond Island is the tall vertical rock island that stands out in the middle of the bay of Koh Khao Ping Kan and it is this funny looking rock that featured so heavily in The Man with the Golden Gun movie by hosting the solar panels for harvesting the power of the sun and for powering Scaramanga’s laser gun.

Ko Tapu actually translates into English as nail island or spike island and it got this name due to its tall and rocky nature.
The limestone rock is around 20 metres tall with a diameter ranging from about 4 metres at the bottom and up to 8 metres at the top (hence the name of nail island).

Guides.
A Tourist Authority of Thailand tour guide, licensed and English speaking (often available also in Chinese and Russian) will be provided. For v.i.p. tours available also tour guides in French, Spanish, German or Italian language. Our tour guides will never drive any minivan or boat because the driver or captain will always be a different person, professional and specialised only about that work. For the excursions to islands by boat, the crew is always expert and professional as well.

Safety.
For safety on the boats/speedboats we provide life jackets in various sizes and emergency first aid kits is available. Our boats/speedboats are never overbooked or overloaded. Safety and security are our priority.
